Potty Training...

Well, here is the scoop on potty training...

Reese goes a couple times a day without help, prompting, or company.
He hasn't had a p-o-o-p-y diaper since last Tuesday when we started this project.
I can't take any credit for this undertaking as Oma is the chief potty emptier, potty company, and potty prompter.
Reese has only had a couple of accidents (only p-e-e ones)--with several days of no accidents.
We've gone in public with only training pants on...
We now carry a little potty chair in our car *just in case*.
Fun times at our house!

(That is a plastic egg he is holding, one of the rewards for a big success.)

Ditto Shana. I figure that will be the photo that at 16 he declares that he was emotionally abused as a child ;)

I was wondering if you could just post a video? ;) Whatever Reese does on video is what Rory wants to do.. And currently we have NO interest in potty training thank you very much. I even got these cute little underpants with all his favorite things on them... He asked Daddy if he could throw them in the fountain. Hmph.

My 2 1/2 year old isn't very interested in potty training yet either. Some days, he thinks it's really cool to wear underwear and we're really good about it all until nap time. After his nap, he is not interested in putting undies on again. My parents are coming to visit for a week. Maybe we ought to tackle it while they're here?!

I don't know why, but the moment I let Robby sleep in Big Boy Underwear, he was hooked. That was at 1 1/2 for him and he thinks he is the cat's meow now at 3 1/2. They just do their own thing when it's right for them.....he is just now starting to ride his bike that he got for Christmas, when he wouldn't even acknowledge it before. They're funny little individuals!
