I need help...
I am thinking of getting a little more into photography, not professional--don't know that I'll ever achieve that, but I do need a name.
Any suggestions? I'm thinking something to do with kids/families... (don't want to do weddings).

I like more sedate ones that still stick--like Crocker Lane Photography. Or, I like ones that have your name and your target in it--like Young Seasons Photography by Dana, or just Dana's Photography: Capturing Childhood, or something like that.

What kind of camera do you use? Also, what do you use for backgrounds? Is it fabric from a fabric store? I often take my own kids' pix as well, but haven't had as good of luck w/ them indoors b/c of backgrounds!

Hmm... You could specialize in grandparent-grandkid pics and call it Something Old Something New. It'd be hard to forget!
Wow... Now to choose. I think we should have a vote. I'll have to do another post and get everyone to choose just one favorite...
3boys'mom-- I use a Canon 10D digital SLR camera and for indoor shots I use black velvet, or a white sheet. I also use lots of light. Sometimes I just throw a plain colored blanket behind them. In the picture with Oma and the two boys it is a brown blanket behind them...
