Stuff...

We have *stuff* going on here... yucky stuff... It appears we are a breeding grounds for MRSA... I am the current victim and I'm telling you it is not pleasant. Ughhh. Jim has had two episodes and we think that each of the boys have had a case each. Grossness. We do everything they tell us to keep from getting it, but somehow we are spreading it around. Our doctor is consulting with an infectious diseases doctor (yikes) today to make a plan so we can rid ourselves of the *disease*. Just thought I'd document the fun times we are having... Don't you want to have us over???

Also thought you'd like to see our cute boys...

Carsten sporting his new haircut... I love my boys with short hair! Carsten has a cold this week... not bad yet and hopefully we can cut it short.

This is Reese's "farmer hat" as he calls it. We got it very cheap last year and he loves it. Daddy is not so sure.

This picture is for Grandma Keri and family who sent the boys these fun shirts. Reese loves his and pretends to play sports while he is wearing it... He'll ask you what number you are while he *plays*...

Some Old Pictures...

Some old pictures that were on Reese's camera... Carsten getting his hair cut at the place Reese loves near my mom and dad's house...

He didn't mind at all... She is quick and did a great job.

Reese asked later the same week if we could go get another haircut... there is something about getting your hair cut in a Hummer.

Reese's first experience in one of those restaurant play structure deals. He mostly sat on the one bench inside the tube--until another child helped him climb to the top. It then became a convincing game of getting him down... He finally agreed to let an older girl come down the slide with him. A weird feeling of not being able to get to him when he wanted me to... Once on the top he enjoyed playing the "plano" as he calls a piano. It was a xylophone type thing. Anyway, he finally came down the slide as I said earlier and we were able to go home!

I keep forgetting to take pictures of Lamby and Lu Lu--Reese's favorite animals. They sleep with him and he likes to drag them with us when he remembers. Recently he has wanted Lu Lu strapped in the carseat with him. I had to take a picture to document the unsafe practice of strapping a stuffed animal in with your child... the things we do to keep them happy...

Ladders and First Hair Cuts...

Carsten Ola got his first hair cut today thanks to Kent W. He looks like a little boy now. His little wispy hair was sticking up and running over his ears, so it was time.

Carsten appears to be getting yet another tooth as the drool has turned into a fountain and yesterday he was running a little fever.
He pulls up on everything and scoots all over. He has about four bruises to show for his efforts in getting around.

This is one of Reese's favorite toys, an old step ladder. He drags it around and *fixes* all sorts of problems. It gets him two steps higher than his little world. On Monday he was wanting daddy's ladder so he could touch the clouds with his hands...
