When my dad is here I always have a list of projects... This time was no different. We painted the legs and apron on our kitchen table and re-did a little end/magazine table. Reese wanted to help, so he helped sand and then paint--he was quite excited and waited patiently or as patiently as a 5 year old can.Thanks neighbor JoAnn for the idea and the paint!
My next project involves my father-in-law and it is a door turned into a coffee table...

Looks like you are a much neater painter than I. I think paint is the best bargain because it transforms the ordinary. Great job!

ooh it looks like you have been having some fun! let me know how the door/coffee table turns out. I've been saving an door from our old house for that same purpose but I'm not sure exactly how to go about it.
