Carsten in his new seat (THANKS Opa and Oma!!!). It is a pretty cushy ride... Now to get it installed in the car.
And Reese in the box. He had to get something out of the deal too. He is busy building a house in it. "The bathroom is going to go here and the kitchen here..."

aw man! a decathalon! i'm jealous!
we have ivy lou's britax in the basement... i'm not sure if i'm ready to start lugging two kids around. it's much easier to lug one and carry the other in her infant carseat.

Love the carseat...do you know where your folks found it? I am trying to find a better carseat!!! Ours is horrible. Does it buckle between Carsten's legs. I've been told that is the best way instead of having to put their arms through the straps and then buckle them in the middle.

Hi Kate! We got the carseat from www.bestbuybaby.com It is an expensive carseat, but one of the best/safest. I'm not sure I understand your question about the straps... It is a five point harness if that answers your question. It buckles on his chest and between his legs. Hope this helps.
RaeAnn--the decathalon is awesome--much more padding than the marathon (Reese's seat). I am getting used to the getting two kids out thing and waking up Carsten whenever I take him out... it is much better on my back though.
