Reese and I saw this car down the street at a garage sale from out of our window. He was insistent that we go and check it out. He thought that it was one that he could ride on. When we got there it appeared to be a bed. Sure enough and so for $10 Reese has a new bed!
This will be a new adventure for all of us as we are used to the crib idea. The crib idea is that the kid is safe, contained, can't escape, doesn't have too many choices other than fall asleep, won't fall out, etc.
He is currently taking a nap in it... haven't heard too much, so hopefully he is still inside and is asleep.

Looks like any little boys' dream bed!
We moved our little boy into the same bed at about 20 months before his new sibling arrived. He loved it and used to swing on it too. I must say we never got it for $10 so lucky you! We miss that little bed now he is older.
That is awesome! Maybe it will entice him to go to bed since he got to pick out his bed and he loves it soooo much. What a deal!
i LOVE his bed! very cute! i'm also wondering how it will work out. i like that reese is a bit older than SJP... at least i know what stage is next! :)
patti ordered the conversion kit for SJP's crib (it will become a toddler bed). it should be here in a few weeks. i too am wondering how this big kid bed thing works. do they REALLY stay in it? and if they don't, will we ever really know?
I love that you are all going through the baby stages before me...I have so many friends and family to call for advice!!!!
