Someone did not want their picture taken... I ended up sneaking some in anyway.

So, the new bed... Two nights down and all is well. Napping on the other hand... Two days without naps is horrid. At nap time he just wiggles and plays in the new bed--maybe this is what makes the nights go better--he is exhausted by the time bedtime rolls around! So here is to another day of trying to get RR to nap in his car bed.

Reese and I saw this car down the street at a garage sale from out of our window. He was insistent that we go and check it out. He thought that it was one that he could ride on. When we got there it appeared to be a bed. Sure enough and so for $10 Reese has a new bed!
This will be a new adventure for all of us as we are used to the crib idea. The crib idea is that the kid is safe, contained, can't escape, doesn't have too many choices other than fall asleep, won't fall out, etc.
He is currently taking a nap in it... haven't heard too much, so hopefully he is still inside and is asleep.

Haven't updated in awhile, so here we are... The boys were getting a ride.
All is well here, just have two runny noses to deal with (two runny noses that don't wipe themselves).
I also just have to brag about Reese for a minute. He is so good about saying thank you. Yesterday we vacuumed the downstairs and then went upstairs to get ready for the day. When we came back down and he saw the vacuum marks he said, "Thank you for vacuuming mommy."

We went on a mini vacation this weekend. Jim's parents let us use their time share for the weekend--they are going there today. We ended up not doing much, just playing. We had a nice time. Reese got to play with his friend Cole all day Sunday--they did very well. Wish we lived closer.

Why do the *whys* start now? Why didn't I know the *whys* were going to start? "Why mommy why?"

Couldn't resist this face.
This is now the position that Carsten prefers... makes diaper changes a little challenging. I can lay him on his back and instantly he rolls over.
The ever present two year old... requesting his picture be taken as well...

Reese insisted on holding Carsten this morning for a long time... I kept trying to take him away and he wouldn't let me. Let's see how long this love lasts huh?
We are having a hard time deciding what color Carsten's eyes are... if you click on this picture and make it bigger maybe you can help us decide...

Just a note (mostly so I don't forget the date) that Carsten rolled over today for the first time! He rolled from his back to his stomach and then back to his back...

We went to another wedding this weekend and Reese was the ring bearer again. He did very well--especially for only having a half hour nap in the car on the way there.
Yes, all these pictures are of Reese! He was the star of the show again.
I could not resist these chubbby cheeks... on both boys!

We went today to get Carsten's three month pictures and we ended up with all of these...
Some of you will be lucky enough to receive a hard copy someday.

He let me put a picture... poor guy. I do want to say that I've given him haircuts that have worked, and he has agreed to let me cut it again...

So, no picture because I'm not allowed to... I cut Jim's hair today and we were wondering aloud to each other why the professionals (which I am not) use scissors to cut the top instead of just using a larger guard on the clippers??? We decided to find out... hmmmm. We now have a *bad haircut*. Our question has been answered--they do it because if you use clippers on the whole head it ends up looking like a buzz. Why do we do these things when we have a wedding to go to this weekend???

Reese wanted to push his brother around in his doll stroller so I finally agreed. It was pretty cute... Carsten is such an easy going guy he just sat there and cooed while he was pushed from one end of the house to the other.
