Day 11! Our party of 13 this morning before meeting, special friends where we were for meeting and lunch, Vernazza (one of the five towns in Cinque Terre where we are spending one night).

Day 10! Ping pong at the house, Pisa (very fun to see the tower in person--it really is leaning!), and more grocery shopping (the escalators for people and grocery carts are impressive).

Day 8! Traveled to Chianni, Italy... Lunch eaten in shopping carts (for the kids 😉), fun with Alinya, our next house for 3 nights (Wow!).

Day 7! Italy 🇮🇹 Our house for two nights, running into a USA friend at the train station, a day in Venice!

Day 6! On our way to Italy 🇮🇹. We had to have a little excitement, so just before the Italian border we filled up with gasoline in our diesel van... 😳 A tow truck ride, 11 people in a 7 passenger van, over the Alps 3 times, and a few Swiss francs. 😏

Day 5: A castle tour of Chateau De Chillon followed by a visit to Gruyere.

Day 2! Kids would be perfectly happy just staying home and jumping on the trampoline. 😊 Scenes on our way to a lake for a picnic with Aschi and Kim!

1st day! Arrived, stayed awake, and checked out our surroundings. This is the house of our friends where we are staying and the little house in the back is where Opa, Oma, and Aunt Diane are.
